Woman's Club to host Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser

Sylvia Woelfel, left, was the guest speaker at the Noon Rotary Club thisweek. She is a member of the A.W.A.R.E. Department of the Woman’s Club of Kingsville and the department is sponsoring a Pre-Kentucky Derby High Tea from 2-4 p.m. May 1 at the home of Debbie and Billy Tiffee, 2940 Franklin Adams, Kingsville.  Attendees will be encouraged to wear at hat and these will be available in a hat auction. A silent auction is also scheduled.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dreams Come True Foundation of South Texas.  Tickets are $20. (Photo by Fred Nuesch)
