Symphony director previews upcoming fundraiser

Dr. Veronica Salinas-Lopez, music director and conductor of the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra, was the guest speaker at the Noon Rotary Club Sept. 20. She explained her position with the symphony and what goes into the planning of a concert. Lopez outlined the four concerts to be presented in 2016-17 and the availability of season tickets. She is shown with three violins that will be auctioned at the KSO dinner and auction Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Center.
