Today’s program was on the Jess H. Jones Rotary House International in Houston, Texas.  Rotary House is a full service hotel designed to cater to MD Anderson Center patients and families. Most of its rooms include kitchenette facilities and it provides individual patient orientations, support groups, on site lab work, learning center, and daily activities. Ms. Peterson and Ms. West stayed at Rotary House while Ms. Peterson was undergoing some tests.  They were both very impressed with the level of care and customer service provided by its staff to patients and families.  The House is managed by Marriott and is adjacent to the hospital.  It has a connecting walkway which provides easy access for patient and families while they are at the hospital for either in patient or outpatient care.    Rotary House opened in 1993 with funding raised by the Rotary Club Foundation of Houston.
