Rotarian Mike Desiderio visited the Rotary Club of Vasto during a visit to Italy on July 26.
The club hosted him at a special gathering in the city’s center. Arnando Tascione, the president of the club, sent the following message to welcome their guest: "To Prof. Mike Desiderio, we extend the greetings of the Rotary Club of Vasto and of Rotary District 2090. As president and on behalf of Past Governor Francesco Ottaviano, of the incoming president and of all the present leadership, we are pleased to welcome you here in your homeland, to establish through you a virtual bridge with the Rotarians of your District 5930 in Texas. The exchange of our flags, sealed in our beloved City of Vasto and in the setting of the Palazzo d'Avalos, reinforces the bond of being a Rotarian that unites our clubs.”
