The Olympics are happening in Paris.  Fred Nuesch is a member of our club that has unique experience with the Games.  He will talk about them then & now.

Steve Roach is the Executive Director of Athletics for Texas A&M — Kingsville.  He will discuss the programs and upcoming events in Javelina sports.

Janine Reyes is a Rotarian and the Director of Tourism Services for the City of Kingsville.  She will tell us about the commissioning of the U.S.S. Kingsville happening this weekend.

Our own Texas A&M Univerity — Kingsville has championship teams.  Our coaches will join us to talk about the upcoming season of our favorite sports.  Look forward to hearing from:  head volleyball coach Tanya Allen-Gonzalez, head football coach Mike Salinas, and head cross country coach Ryan Dall!

Dr. Elda Sanchez is a Professor and Director for the National Natural Toxins Research Center here at TAMUK.  She will discribe her work and maybe even discuss snakes!

The staff of our Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to discuss upcoming events and the work their doing on develpement in our city.

Marc Couvillon is a lieutenant colonel with the Marine Corps Flight Division.  He will be on hand to discribe his work and experiences on board Naval Air Station — Kingsville.

October has been declared End Domestic Violence month in Kingsville as well as Kleberg County.  Members of the End Domestic Violence Task Force will educate us on the movement and how we can serve.

Dr. Robert J. Vela is a Rotarian and the 22nd President of Texas A&M University — Kingsville.  He will discuss the latest developements on campus.

Dr. Steve Bain is a Rotarian and the founding director for IRMHI here at Texas A&M — Kingsville.  He will talk about the program's successes and colaberation with the Univeristy of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland.

Thomas Krueger is the J.R. Manning Endowed Professor of Innovation in Business Education and Chair of the Accounting and Finance Department at Texas A&M—Kingsville.  He will discuss this year's annual Economic Forum and delve into how it affects Texans, Kingsvillians, and Rotarians.

JayLene Garza is Outreach Coordinator for Brush Country CASA.  She will be on hand to tell us about the work they do and how we can help.

Brush Country Court-appointed Special Advocates' mission is to provide trained and qualified community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children who are before the court as a result of abuse or neglect as defined by the state Child Welfare Laws. Brush Country CASA’s goal is to place these children in safe, nurturing environments as quickly as possible.

Rotary District 5930 Governor Zehra Surani will make her official visit today.  A major event on any Rotary Club calendar, this is one not to miss!

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.  Belinda C. Morin is the Program Specialist for South Texas.  She will present today on her organization's work and how we can help.

Brenda Ballard is a Rotarian and the Director for the Center for Careeer Training and Continuing Education at Texas A&M University — Kingsville.  She will discuss her office's programs and training.

Jeffrey Glick is the Associate Dean of Academic Success and Professor of Philosophy at Texas A&M—Kingsville.  He will be in attendance to stretch our minds.

Texas A&M University—Kingsville offers a nationally accredited Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program designed to enhance the leadership skills and management competencies of public and nonprofit managers. This comprehensive program aims to improve the performance of administrators and the organizational effectiveness of public and nonprofit sectors.

Program Director Jeffrey R. West is the Chief Workforce Developement Officer.  He will be on hand today to explain the certification process and curriculum.
